Sunday's Twins/Tigers game is postponed

Well another game was postponed as snow continues to accumulate over there. As Ron Gardenhire said, there is no fighting mother nature. It's dissapointing, but I am glad that we will make it up tommorow afternoon. I hate doubleheaders. It's hard to win doubleheaders. You can lose two games easily than win two games.

And people can't understand why we have a dome in MN for baseball?!

I missed Twins baseball this weekend. We are only playing one game today (Monday) and making the other game up later in the year - that's what the Star Tribune said today. I don't like doubleheaders this early in the season - especially down in the standings right now. So hopefully we can get this one today at Comerica and go on with the rest of the month of April without any more Mother Nature issues.

ANyone ever play baseball in the snow!? Yeah, I thought not.

In 1996 at the Yankees home opener, Yankees and Royals actually played in the snow believe it or not.

I am shocked Michigan has snow at the end of April. You figure snow would take place at this time of the year in places like Minnesota or New Jersey or even in the New England area.

Me too. I was watching the Rockies and the Whiney Sux all weekend on MLB.TV. Both teams bored me.

Don't be shocked. Michigan weather is some of the craziest around the country. Believe it or not, there has been snow in May before. I heard it wasn't really nothing bad though, it melted away in a day.
