Suppan picks up an ugly win tonight. He didnt pitch very well again. He seems to be struggling with his control. I personally think he is very excited for the All-Star break to get here. He went 5 innings tonight. Not his usual 6+ again tonight. I hope this ugly win gets him turn around and dependable again.

Ha lucky you weren't here to see his outing on the road...He barely lasted 1 inning....Again I say, still not worth his money IMO. He's got a big reputation as a pitcher. There's really no excuse for him doing badly...

Well he has always given up his share of runs. I knew that about him coming into the year. I liked him because he was instrumental last year for the Cardinals. If it was NOT for him the Cardinals very well have NOT made the play-offs. He will be ok. it is just a stretch. He is an inning eater though, and he battles through everything, he is a gamer, IMO. That is why I like him,just a bit frustrated, curious, and concerned about him right now.

Those two pitchers will be alright. I still believe we could use more pitching, especially in our middle relief.
