He is struggling at the plate and has a huge contract. In this case, 2 negatives dont make a positive. If you catch my drift.

That is the intent for calling Branyan up. Pressure to produce usually steps it up a notch or you sit the bench.

I had doubts about Branyan but he's doing good with the bat.

I still have doubts, but he is a HR threat off the bench to PH late in games. That is all he is worth, IMO.
