    McCarver is so lame sometimes: "Ozzie Guillen is a World Champion Manager." He is the king of the most ridiculous cliches!
    The Simpson family gathers around, as Homer places Bart's passed test on the fridge.)

    Homer: We're proud of you, boy.

    Bart: Thanks, Dad. But part of this D-minus belongs to God.

    I don't listen to Brandon McCarver anymore. Buck's not that horrible in baseball, but McCarver is so rooted in old-school maxims that he is almost useless. Old-school stuff is fine, but he just doesn't get out of the mode.

    Yes I did! Thanks. I think Crede deserves the MVP. He made amazing plays at third saving some potential runs and had two homers.

    Buck's OK, but he's not on the same level as his father. I really liked listening to his father during the '90 World Series. He was up there with my good friend Marty B.

    McCarver wasn't as bad back then. He was actually bearable, although he had the goofy statements nonetheless.

    ESPN now has the "eye rolling" Jeff Brantley on.

    Jermaine Dye is MVP, didn't see that coming. Well, justifiable.

    I can't stand Brantley, or Dibble. He annoys me.

    Sutcliffe is cool though. (Not watching ESPN).

    Brantley= Idiot/annoying
    Dibble= Jerk/annoying--- He is most certainly a "Nasty Boy", just as his nickname indicated.

    I can only imagine what Mariotti is doing now. He must have had a heart attack by this point.

    I often wonder how these former players get hired on ESPN. I mean Reynolds has fit into his role on BT decently, Sutcliffe does his job well, the guest announcers are good at what they do, but when you get Dibble, Kruk, Brantley. My goodness, where do they get these idiots? Is it that hard to have Ravech, Olney/Gammons, Reynolds/Orestes? Even throw one of the Baseball Prospectus guys on there once a week for something different.

    I still like Reynolds the best, even if I don't agree with him on everything. He typically seems to make at least some sense. Sutcliffe isn't bad. Dibble/Kruk/Brantley=terrible.

    I think Olney is OK. You know how I feel about Gammons. He can make some good points, but I just can't take his rumors and he talks about the Sox/Yanks too much for my taste.
