Tavares hurt his hand last night and could be out a while. This is crucial to the Astros chances of getting in the playoffs.

I am going with Jeff Francoeur because he came up from the minors and has just been pounding the ball and playing great deffense, I would like to say Duke but he hasn't been up long enough in my opinion to win plus he was hurt for a little

One candidate is en fuego, while the other is ice cold. The past week just re-enforces what I've been saying.

    Ryan Howard should win.

Howard is making a good case for the ROPTM (Rookie of the Past Two Months)

Sure, let's give him that one too. Even though he has the best stats for the entire year anyway.

How is that? He hasn't played a whole year.

You're trying to pick a fight that's been fought way too much.

So you think that Taveras has had a better year than Howard?

Read the last sentence real carefully. He had not played an entire season. That's why your statement was false.

If Taveras had an OBP of .280
    and was hitting .245
while stealing 25 bases but being caught 20 times
    But played the entire season
Are you still awarding him RoY over the rest?
    Marshall: MILSWANCAs?
    Ted
: Wait, I can get this. Mothers I'd like to sleep with and never call again.
    Barney: Circle gets the square!

That has nothing to do with me correcting his statement and no I wouldn't give it to him. But I am gonna give to him because his numbers are good and has far exceeded his own expectations which gave the Astros way to exceed their expectations.

    Taveras: .320 OBP, .666 OPS, 33 SB's, 73 run's, 3 HR's, 27 RBI's
    Howard: .353 OBP, .896 OPS, 0 SB's, 44 run's, 18 HR's, 50 RBI's

Forget who has played more, who honestly had the better year?

I AM GIVING TO TAVARES BECAUSE UNLIKE YOU AMATEURS, I AM NOT IMPRESSED BY THE ALL MIGHTY HOMERUN!!! TAVARES FILLED A HUGE GAP AND HAS HELPED BRING A TEAM THAT NO ONE GAVE A CHANCE TO THE PLAYOFF PICTURE. HELL SOME OF YOU WERE SAYING THE CARDS COULD BLOW THEIR LEAD TO THE ASTROS WHEN TARARES GOT HOT.

    Sorry for yelling
