And **** you too! I still disagree. They have both done it with a lot of the help coming from young guys. Deny that and I will laugh at you....again.

I don't deny it. But if Pujols was suddenly injured in ST, the Cardinals would still be in first place, thanks to their great pitching and tremendous offense (even without Albert). If Andruw went down, the Braves might be last.

Yeah, but it's tough to say that because it isn't Pujols's fault his team is that much better.
I did a lot of good things as a sim league GM.

Ah, give me something clever to say here.

Again, how do you figure that? Rolen has been out most of the year, Edmonds has been hurt, Sanders is out, and Walker has been out, too...so who does Pujols have?

Tremendous offense consisting of Rolen, Walker, Edmonds, Sanders and Molina. Oh wait, NOOOOOOOOO. Yeah the Braves pitching sucks. Wait nooooooooooooo! Get real dude. Without Albert, this is hardly an overpowering offense with all the injuries to this team. You are reaching bro.

Pitching. Pujols has consistent starting pitching.

The Braves have 2 of their 5 starters on the DL. And when Chipper was hurt for a while, who carried the team? Andruw did. Without him..the Braves would fall out of the race, fast.

Just imagine, how does this lineup look to you?

    SS Furcal (missed games)
    2B Giles (missed games)
    1B Laroche (platoon with Franco)
C Estrada (missed a lot of time; platoon with McCann)
    LF Johnson (rook)/Brian Jordan (platoon)
CF Langerhans (batting .190 against RHP)
    RF Francouer (rook)
    3B Wilson Betemit/Andry Marte (decent/rook)

    Not exactly menacing.

Thats nice than Andruw is more valuable to his team than Pujols, even though that is debatable. Pujols numbers are so far and away better than Andruw's that it does not even matter. Lay off the kool-aid and take off the glasses.

Yeah and Suppan and Marquis are consistent. Do you honestly think Eckstein and Grudz could carry this team to a 12 game lead over the Stros? Its a no brainer. Jones has a .224 average with RISP while Pujols has a .336 average. Strikeouts alone give this one away. Did I mention Pujols could be a Gold Glover? And let me guess that you are gonna try and come back with Jones past GG's. Please.

The theory is that Andruw is the MVP because the rest of his team sucks or is hurt.

    Nice.

If you vote for Andruw Jones, then joek wins. Please, think of my sanity.

Amazingly enough, Pujols has a mere 6-5 lead in this poll.

joek believes the value of an individual player is dependant on how their team does from year to year. Trot Nixon was the best RF last year since his team won.

Likewise, people who are voting for Andruw are not voting due to statistical superiority, but simply because he is the best offensive catalyst on a playoff team that people perceive could not live without him, namely being valuable because his team is good. If he was doing this but Atlanta was .5 back of the WC (say, like Morgan Ensberg), then no one would care. Jones value is dependant on his team in this voting, therefore, joek wins.

This isn't who you rather have on your team..if it is, it's Pujols by a landslide. This all matters on how you value the most valuable player to his team.
