Bonds doesn't expect to be ready

    http://sports.espn.go.com/espn/news/story?id=2122194

I don't think you're going to see me out there this year," Bonds told MLB.com. "That's the reality of the situation. I'm improving. I'm happy with the progress. I'm working out hard on the exercise bike and the elliptical machine, but I'm just not there yet. The last thing I want is to get back on the field and be out again a week later."

No! Noooo!!! I have my tissues out because of this decision, Barry. How could you?
The Simpson family gathers around, as Homer places Bart's passed test on the fridge.)

Homer: We're proud of you, boy.

Bart: Thanks, Dad. But part of this D-minus belongs to God.

Well tell your dad that he is an idiot. Bonds gets tested just like all the rest of the players. I kind of saw this coming since he has yet to start any baseball activity, but then again this is Bonds. He changes his mind everyday. I do expect him in the opening day lineup next year as he really wants these records. Thank god we got Randy Winn

What does that have to do with the subject at hand? And to follow up your recent question, how many 40 yr olds do you know have had three operations in one year?

Anyone being paid must still be tested. Last time I checked, Barry was getting paid.

Nice move Barry. Way to slip this in now after the Raffy bomb so as not to make too big a headline. Barry is so brilliant. So sly.

Bonds homers: Still wondering why there's so much suspicion around Barry?

Kinda expected, and I don't expect to see Bonds next year as well. He's old, and had 3 knee surgeries. He should retire now.

People must have missed it when I said it the first time.

This can't be a "scam for Bonds to clean out his system" because BONDS IS STILL SUBJECT TO STEROID TESTS RIGHT NOW, so it wouldn't matter.

Yeah no one cared to pay attention when I said it as well. He has been tested this year and so far you have heard nothing which means he tested negative.

I think players on injured reserve are not subjected to random testing as they are under doctor's care.

I'll try to find the link to that article from earlier in the year, when all of the Congressional stuff was going on.
