    oh i loved dave stern. i just meant with the pronunciations. thats the only thing that stern and selig have in common... they cant say the names of players, cities or in seligs case, team names.

    The super friends were due to make a pick that pissed me the fuck off.

    When you have a top 5 pick you take BPA. Not some fat ass catcher who won't stick at the position just so you can overslot later.

    Okay, I've calmed a bit after looking at stats and his scouting reports, but I'm still not happy with the pick. I feel like this is going to be a pick we(Cubs fans) look back at and cringe at the players we passed up on.

    a stretch would be the same thing as a reach. like the eagles taking a 4th rounder in the 1st. i actually always felt like a reach was smaller than a stretch. a reach would be the dolphins taking a late 2nd rounder in the 1st.

    Rays took Casey Gillaspie younger brother of Chicago White Sox Conner, he's a big boy, seems to have decent collegiate numbers and in the Cape Cod League. A switch hitter, I like that.
