I say fact for the Reds. They have a solid young base, and they are still a while away, but 5 more seasons should give them a fair chance to get a grouping of Kearns/Dunn/WMP/Encarn/etc. to make a playoff core.

I wasn't alive for Dent, but I think it would. I mean, the decided which team went to the WS. Dent wasn't a walk-off IIRC, and even if the Sox won that game, their momentum was shot, they weren't going anywhere. Not to mention, 2003 was pretty heated.

Fiction: unless they change their roster with a trade, I don't think they have the offense. They couldn't do it last year with Beltran being on fire and all.

Fact if they don't get Schilling out of the bullpen, but I am gonna have to go with fiction. Too strong of an offense and better starting pitching than the rest of the AL East especially if they get Burnett. Wagner would be a great pickup.
