MLB to ban first and third pickoff move?

I think this is stupid to ban the move and even dumber to call it a "trick play". The move does work but maybe only two or three times a year. If runners are dumb enough to fall for it, so be it. Lefties can already hold the runner at first since they have a clear view, righties cannot. The point of the move isn't to try and get the guy out at third but to keep the runner on first honest.

Any time someone tries that in a game, Marty Brenanmen (reds radio announcer), says, "He tries the move that hasn't worked since Abner Doubleday was in diapers" lol

Matt Vasgersian used to say "he's pulling a Sut" (in reference to Rick Sutcliffe) I guess he used to do that a lot.

Its to "speed up the game" allegedly. I never mind seeing the play, as it lets the pitcher know if there is a play on.
