Jon Paul Morosi of FOXSports.com reports that Manny Ramirez has filed for reinstatement from Major League Baseball's voluntary retired list.
He'll be eligible to play in 2012 but will first have to serve a 50-game suspension for a second positive PED test. It will be interesting to see what kind of market develops for Ramirez, as he had one hit in 17 at-bats for the Rays before his abrupt retirement last season and will be 40 by the time he can suit up for a game. Someone will likely be willing to give him an incentive-laden, one-year deal, though.
