    Does anyone know why...

Does anyone know why Games in Toronto start on 7's not 5's?

    Example 7:07 PM
    Example 1:07 PM

The exchange rate. Canadian time is less valuable than American time.

Games everywhere start a bit late. First pitch for the Yankees is usually 7:08.

The first pitch at Mets games are always on the 5's, and 10's.

H_I_G notice every home game [blue] starts on a 7, not a 5.

Because they have to sing the Canadian and American national anthem.

Circular logic aside, Mr Mims, you have yet to provide a single credible reason why you are, in fact, hot.

you guys are missing the obvious here...it could be for the same reason stupid Ted Turner made everything on TBS start at 7:15 (:15 and :45 for all hours)...he was hoping the TV guides and what not would have to make a different column since it wasn't starting at 7 (:00 or :30) so everyone would see the TBS shows all by itself...it backfired of course and they still put TBS shows with the other shows. Maybe Jays are trying the same thing?

Element might be on to something, the two minutes makes sense. Of course, they could start singing it two minutes earlier, but the time makes sense.

If it got your attention, then Providence may have it right as well. A curious time will always get a double take at the least.

The Canadians don't have a national anthem, people. Only real countries have anthems. Canadia just has a couple of weak verses about "standing on guard for thee", which sucks. Just like all weak-kneed low temperature Tory wannabes who couldn't take freedom. And McKain.

To be fair, we inherited McKain. And quite frankly, he's better than Celine Dion and maybe on the level of Bryan Adams. I'd still trade Dion and Adams for a few gallons of maple syrup.

LOL. I have to admit, that was pretty funny. Rep coming.

Still they have Shania Twain, and that Figure Skater name Sale (who ever was in that scandal at the olympics).

It takes longer for Canadians to get ready thats why they start at 7:07
