Yeah, that's a good point by Kruk. WTF is Carlos Guillen doing playing first base? Put him at DH and have Papi play 1B or whatever.

BTW, these uniforms would make you think it's a game between the Texas Rangers and Washington Nationals.

Shocker. Soriano strikes out to end the top of the 2nd. Tough inning for Santana there.

The uni's are questionable, but Japan has some sweet looking helmets.

Then in our make-it-or-break-it game against Mexico, a must win, we should have our best pitcher go (Erik Bedard).

Instead, it looks like it's going to be:

    Bedard vs SA
    Francis vs USA
    Loewen vs Mex

That's stupid. You can't look forward to round 2 if you're not out of round 1. Mexico's pretty stacked.

Remind me to draft Magglio Ordonez in my baseball draft. This guy is awesome, I like what I see. Full count and took the ball the opposite way.

Damn, that's a sick changeup. Victor Martinez was way ahead of that. Colon strikes him out.

Imagine if the Venezuelans were able to trot Santana, Felix, and Zambrano out there with Garcia, Escobar, Chacin, K-Rod and others to use out of the pen. Woohoo for the Mariners blocking Felix!

Nice job by Pujols to draw the walk. That's a pitch that Tejada would have swung at, for sure.
