    Best Asian starting pitcher!

No, Bruce Chen is not Asian. Sadly.

Chien-Ming Wang has done a very good job so far. He is probably due for a decline in performance based on his low K/9 ratio, but he is capable of improving that as well based on his minor league numbers. I think he has been more impressive than Ohka thus far this season. He has pitched more innings per start and is pitching in the more powerful AL. Still, based on track record I will have to say Ohka.

He's not a starting pitcher, wiseguy. Nice try.

He used to start. Ask any Reds fan, and watch their heads start spinning around.

Bruce Chen is Asian, although not by nationality.

    Anyway, the Big Wang Cheese.

Ohka used to be a Red Sox too, and then he got traded for Uggy. Boo.

    I will go with Ohka.

I have to comment on Ishii. He is such an enigma. He can be so good yet so bad too. If Ishii can overcome his walk problems, he can be so good. I think last week Willie Randolph clearly showed his disgust at the amount of walks that Ishii threw. I thought Ishii has done an okay job with the Mets, but this guy can be so good if he stop walking people. Not even the great Rick Peterson can solve Ishii's problems.

Too bad Irabu isn't still playing. What a fantastic candidate he'd be.

Chen is a full Asian by blood, but a Panamanian by nationality.

    Ohka by far.

Ohka has 86 innings pitched this year, with only 12 home runs allowed. He has pitched a complete game, and only allowed 39 runs in those 86 innings. Tomo Ohka is having one of his best year of his career (Excluding 2002 in Montreal). That is why Tomo Ohka deserves it.
