Good choices for the Manager of the year awards. Gardenhire wins with Morneau out for several months and the loss of his closer for the whole season. Bud Black is a great choice as well. How many people at the beginning of the season would have thought the Padres would have been 1 game away from making the playoffs and winning 90 games.

If I had a vote, I'd have likely voted for Ron Washington this season. He had a huge amount of pressure on him to win. Hopefully, his problems are all behind him now.
