Lee would have gotten Burnett's spot more than likely. Burnett has been garbage this season. Don't know what they would have done with Burnett, but that would have been the spot Lee would have taken in their rotation.
Glad Texas got him instead of the Yanks. The Yanks really didn't need him, other than to keep him away from Tampa Bay.

Burnett's not going anywhere. Too much money and he has always has his rough patches of the season...last 2 starts have been very good since Dave Eiland came back. The rumor I've heard is they would have then traded Vazquez away.
