Yeah I figured those guys would be available for the pen. Yanks can't afford to lose in the first round. Mussina has problems winning back to back starts so I am going to give this one to the Angels. Angles need to get the BIG bats going if they want to win.

Should be a pretty good game. I like drama, although not when it's amongst my friends but instead in a game.

I guess you didn't get the play on words with "Big Unit" and "Wang". Heh.

I think dreamworks just ripped off Ortiz and Colon's looks to be honest.

Dreamworks Executive: We need a new, original character for an animation movie.
Dreamworks Lackey #1: Well, how bout we combine our favorite beefy pitcher and beefy hitter from baseball?
Dreamworks Executive: Hmmm...well, who do you have in mind?
Dreamworks Lackey #2: I've always been partial to Bartolo Colon. I like how his curly hair sticks out sideways from under his hat. We could turn those into our character's ears.
Dreamworks Lackey #1: I've always like David Ortiz. There's nothing sexier than big, beefy DH's from the Dominican.
Dreamworks Executive: Sounds good to me. What color should he be?
Dreamworks Lackey #2: How bout green as this new character will bring us a lot of green?
All: Hahaha, thanks be to 2 of MLB's beefiest latin stars!

ha ha at the Colon and Shrek comparison. Never really thought about it, but they really do look alike.

As for the game doesn't anybody remember Colon sucking it up last game? 5.14 ERA last game, 4 ER, 8 hits? Not the greatest. I predict Angels lose this one tonight. It's evenly matched tonight between the Yanks and Angels, but Yanks will come out on top.

Mussina was too good in his last outing.

Gives up a 3 run shot to Vlad in the first inning and it goes downhill from there.

    Angels 9
    Yankees 3

Mussina has a 14-8, 3.51 ERA, 141 K in 197 IP career record against the Angels. Statiscally he has a good chance at doing well tonight and having the Yankees win.

As I once heard a teacher tell me, stats can make you believe anything.

Just liked to provide an interesting note.

I thought that David Ortiz is Shrek. Are you obsessed with this movie?
