I don't disagree he would have been tired, but I have no doubt he could have given them 7 solid innings as well yesterday- more than anything Blanton gave. Whether they win or not, who knows, it's moot point now but I think they would have had a better chance. And the momentum could have been swung the other way.

He didn't have a very good outing, he did put them in a hole early on. I don't blame him for Lidge giving away a non save situation, but Blanton was never going to do well against them, much like he didn't do well against the dodgers. He's an ok pitcher, but nothing more.
