Figgins might not, but I certainly wouldn't object to it.

Burnett's pitching fairly well so far.

I love the "closed-eyes" swing by Napoli on the 1 - 1 pitch.

Here they go again drooling over the Yankees' offseason acquisitions. Like cherrypicking every other team's firstborn is something to be proud of. Really, I'd like to know how the Yankees would fare with Joba and Melky f---ing Cabrera leading the franchise.

I am surprised with how well the Yankee big dollar signings have performed thus far in the postseason.

tex has sucked in the postseason to be fair. but sabathia... and so far... burnett have been great. sabathia was my biggest question mark, since he had a horrendous past in the postseason... but cheeseburgers.cookies. has been real solid so far.

I am mainly talking about CC Hammer. I have too many friends who are Indians fans who were laughing about the envisioned onslaught of runs and losses that would be tacked to his name.

first, shutting the **** up about the yankees signing guys would be a good idea, since its been done for about 10 years now. its nothing new. wah wah wah, the yankees are the evil empire, blah blah blah... we know already. your team has money too... spend it.

2nd... im watching the spanish broadcast, since id rather hear two spanish broadcasters speak, than buck and mccarver, and theyre back a minute earlier every half inning. instead of barely seeing the first pitch of an inning, im seeing jeter pull burnett aside and speaking to him. im seeing yankee interaction in the dugout, im see angel interaction... im seeing all the shit you should see, instead of the next advertisement for mondays house.

and yes... derek jeter is still the best. 2-0 yankees.

Jeter with an opposite field solo shot. 2 - 0 now.

I don't mind so much about the Sabathia and Burnett signings since their old teams couldn't afford them. But Teixeira turning down a good thing going like Marian Hossa did? Angels fans want that same sweet revenge that the Pens fans enjoyed.

And let me tell you mofo, the Hossa revenge was nearly as sweet as seeing the Pens hoist the cup.

2 - 0 going into the bottom of the 4th now. Yanks seem to be getting all of the close calls so far in this series.

Too bad Juan Rivera isn't a Yankee anymore. I missed that radio caller Jerome from Manhattan screaming "He can't hit!!"
