    History 2009 Milestone Tracker

Jermaine Dye and Paul Konerko both just destroyed fastballs from Zach Miner over the left field fence. They were home runs #300 for both of these guys. How 'bout that.

Also, Brandon Inge played in his 1000th career game today. Noteworthy.

Good for all of the players. Well-deserved honors.
I wonder if 2 players have ever hit #300 in the same game before?

Congrats to both these guys! That's pretty cool. (It's also cool that I get fantasy points for Dye )

Sheffield's 500th was the first time a player has ever hit #500 as a Met...as well as the first time a player has hit his 500th as his first HR with a new team.

When Gary Sheffield hit his 500th career homer on April 17, he joined Ty Cobb and Rickey Henderson as the only major-leaguers to hit homers as a teenager and as a 40-year-old. Interesting

Exact definition of "teenager"? Under and including 19?
