    OK, for our Game of the Week we're (once again) stealing ESPN's Sunday Night broadcast where J.D. Drew, Jeff Kent, and the Los Angeles Dodgers face off against Paul Konerko, Aaron Rowand, and the Chicago White Sox. (I would list Garland and Buehrle, but they're not playing, are they?).

    See the two Yankee busts which gave the Yankees such valuable pieces as Kevin Brown and Esteban Loaiza. Scary thing about that Brown trade, arguably the most valuable player in that trade for either team has been Los Angeles Dodgers closer Yhency Brazoban.

    Prediction to see how the Red Sox former whipping boys (Weaver and Contreras) will do when facing off? (And yes, Providence, I just incorporated the Yanks and Sox into this thread.)

    Can't believe I will be rooting for the Dodgers, but desperate cause seeks desperate measures.

    I think this is a WS preview. Chicago is the team to beat in the AL and I think LA is a very good team. I will be doing a piece on the Dodgers next week for this site. I don't think anyone is giving the Dodgers any respect. I think they are the best team in the NL West for sure.

    You realize this game is on Father's Day right? I'm sure that's gonna take away from some people being around. I myself won't be around because the amateur baseball team I play on has a game at 7 PM. Enjoy

    The White Sox hitters will hammer the headcase Weaver. Besides Kent, Drew, and Choi, LA's lineup looks like AAA Las Vegas. Izturis is day-to-day, so Antonio Perez can commit more 5 run errors?

    If Contreras were a Yankee, I'd say 7-4 Dodgers, but unfortunately, Contreras isn't quite the meltdown pitcher as he was in NY.
