Wedge did a good job keeping his team fighting while being so far back. They went from last to third in the second half.

They're not overrated. But a one-dimensional player can't win the MVP. There are people that have both that are "more valuable"

Pujols also had significantly more doubles, more SB, more BB, as well as a higher BA, OBP, AND SLG...
He might be one-dimensional, but his contribuitions with his bat cant be disregarded.
Howard hit 11 more HRs than Pujols and drove in 30 more rbis. I'm not saying that Howard deserves to be MVP over Pujols, because Pujols will most likely win it, all I'm trying to say is that we can't ignore how good of a year Howard despite hitting .251 and striking out 200 times, he was still able to hit 48 HRs and drive in 146 runs. Another impressive stat I saw about Howard was he hit over .300 with runners on base with 2 outs. And had .320 BA with RISP.

If someone hates Pujols, they are either a Cubs fan, Brad Lidge or they hate themselves. There is no reason to hate this guy!

The thing is the MVP and Cy Young awards are not judged from "the date CC got traded". They are judged over the whole season. CC's NATIONAL LEAGUE numbers were dominant, but he did not spend the entire year in the NL, and his award chances are hurt by that, or at least they should be.
Braun had a lot more to do with the Brewers success than Sabathia over the course of the season.
