I don't think many people are reading the OP and are just answering the thread title.
I'd like Tony to be Wally Joyner's replacement as hitting coach.

I'd love to see McGwire come back as a coach, but for the Cardinals. lol
Some of the younger Cardinals go to his house for help during the offseason. Skip Schumaker mentioned that McGwire helped him out this past offseason. Skip is nothing like McGwire was, but he was still able to give him good advise on hitting. Now I'm starting to wonder if McGwire also taught Ryan Ludwick how to hit a homerun. lol
I didn't see the "coach" part....either way, I'd take Piazza as a hitting coach and Tom Terrific as a Pitching coach.

oh, nevermind.
Well, managers are getting younger these days, so Craig Counsell it is, when he retires from baseball at age 19.

Now that I think about it, as terrible as the team would get, I think that letting Marvelous Marv Throneberry manage could be pretty damn entertaining...
Well my favorite player (Eric Davis) already came back as a "special" coach towards the end of the season. However, i if i had to choose one player it would be Pete Rose
