    History Baseball Tonight's Top Players from each Franchise

    Go to the BBTN area of ESPN's Baseball homepage and follow the links. The Cardinals' franchise player will be announced August 3, and the teams will go one at a time for the rest of August. You can vote for a player from each franchise as many times as you wish, but hurry to get your vote in for the Cardinals.

    The choice for the Padres is pretty obvious, so it's probably not even worth the energy to participate when it gets to my favorite team.

    Anyone with half a brain knows Tony Gwynn is the best player in Padres history.

    I wasn't sure if the entire post was made with the explicit purpose of connecting Kevin Brown's name to browntown or if "town" was just thrown in because Kevin Brown's name can be connected to it.
