Always overlooked but most of his best years were before the Cy Young started. Six years with 20+ wins and no awards.
No Christy Mathewson for the Giants?
Are they doing the Expos and Nationals separately? or are they grouping the franchise together?

I would take Marichal over Mathewson. No Met Ott either
The top 2 Mets are easy, George Thomas Seaver, and Michael Joseph Piazza. Unfortunately, beyond that, the choice is tough. Alfonzo wasn't a big enough guy to be a franchise player, Doc wasn't the face of the team for a long enough time. Mookie was never an outstanding guy, but he was a fan favorite. Koosman was great and underrated, but was never the franchise guy, he was hidden behind Seaver. HoJo wasn't really that guy. So, the third spot comes down the Keith and his 'stache, Darryl, and John Franco. As much as I loved Johnny Franco, the homegrown Staten Island boy, I can't really pick him, because he was a big emotional leader, but had many of his best years in Cincy. Leaving me with Keith and Darryl, I'm torn. Darryl was great, and would have been among the best ever if he hadn't fallen into the stuff he did. I'm gonna have to choose Keith for the third spot, because the team improved from the moment he got here, he was the emotional leader of the team, and he was actually a very good media presence. He got over his alcohol and cocaine abuse, and is a much smarter man that he sound, and much smarter than people realize. He was the face of the 1986 team...
You posted an entire paragraph and didn't once mention Nolan Ryan?
I wouldn't put him in the Mets' top 3 due to his fame coming more with the Angels, Astros, and Rangers, but since you discussed a lot of Mets greats I'd think he'd have to fall somewhere in the discussion.

Umm, considering he had only 1 winning season, and had only 2 years with an ERA below 3.50, in his 5 years with the Mets, I would not consider him even close.
Plus, I was naming the guys who were on the ballot on ESPN, not off the top of my head. If I had, I'd also have to include Tug McGraw, Ron Hunt, Lenny Dykstra, Bud Harrelson, Ed Kranepool, and probably a few others I'm forgetting.
I'd say for the Red Sox it would have to be...
1. Ted Williams
2. Carl Yastrzemski
3. Roger Clemens
Other notables:
Jim Rice
Manny Ramirez
Pedro Martinez
Wade Boggs
"They asked me if I wanted the ball in Game 6, and I said yes. I'll always say yes. That's what I did with Jack McKeon. I told him, 'Let me see how I feel tomorrow.' I went out, did a long toss, came in and said, 'I'll pitch, I want it, I want to do it.' And it ended up working out." -Josh Beckett
