He brings in viewers from overseas and has had a good year. This starting lineup needs speed and that's what they got. Sure other guys could have started over him but I am more upset with Kinsler and Michael Young not starting than I am Fukudome who gets on base and provides good defense.

What a starting lineup needs is the best players. I don't make my all-star votes based on mixing some speed through the lineup. I vote for the best players. And if you're not upset about Fukudome "who gets on base and provides good defense" why are you upset that Pedroia's not starting?...he does the exact same things.
I did a lot of good things as a sim league GM.

Ah, give me something clever to say here.

Fukudome starting happens for the same reason Yao Ming makes the All-Star game every time. The voting is online, which means it has no borders, which means EVERYONE in Japan votes for their hometown people. Hence, he gets the most votes

Whats the ****ing point of *****ing and moaning about who got the left out? It happened every ****ing year people, deal with it, Benji Molina didn't make it again, he should have made it last year aswell, I'm not ranting like you are Browntown, plus I bet you wouldn't be complaining if Tek wasn't wearing a Boston uniform.

Tek is dookey this year...there's plenty of other AL catchers that deserved to go more than he did, that's all he's saying.

Yeah but I can make a case for someone almost every year who didn't deserve to be in the ASG aswell over someone who didn't.

Ok, and he's making his case that Tek didn't deserve to go.

He's not making a good case when he has his 2nd string catcher on the list of players that deserve to be in the ASG over Tek.

Did you even look at the list? It's nearly every other American League catcher...as well as a few other people.

Tek is one of the worst All-Star selections ever...truly a terrible, terrible choice. There's no need for 3 catchers anyway. Pick another player or pick a catcher who has OBP that is more than .300 and an average more than .220.

You must have not seen MLB's interview with Terry Francona last night, the one pick he made was Dioneer Navarro, so thats the only reason the AL has 3 catchers, you can't blame him for the fans' stupidity.
