I went with Pujols and didn't hesitate for a second as i found this to be a no-brainer. He is the best pure hitter in the game today and has been for the past few years. If it wasn't for Bonds, this guy would already have three MVP's. With RISP, you want this guy up as long as its not an All Star game. What the **** was LaRussa thinking? Pujols' IBB's this year help make my point. Hey, ESPN got something right! Pujols has reached base in every game this year!

I am bias, because Chipper is one of my favorites in the game. But he always seems to get the key hit when the Braves need. And being a switch hitter, and that can make manager's decisions tougher late in the game. Plus he has power form both sides, and doesnt always swing for the fence.

Agreed. That guys is one of the best first pitch hitters I've ever seen, and that aggressiveness alone is scary. Add the fact that he's a great hitter, and you've got one ferocious hitter.

I gota go with Pujols, I'm a fan of Manny Ramirez, but wherever Manny has played he always had good hitters hitting behind him or in front of him, unlike Pujols who doesn't have anyone as scary as Ortiz hitting either behind him or ahead of him.
