This isn't a big deal people.

All of these people were simply trying to prevent injuries, or had a doctor's prescription to heal injuries.

I think it's a big deal to give oneself an advantage, which helping prevent injuries can do, as can coming back sooner than everyone else.

Not to mention any potential affects in performance.

By the way, "Krukie" sounds and looks like a bigger idiot than ever tonight. Never thought I'd say that, because I didn't think he could possibly get more dim in the skull.

Because some got a doctors perscription to take it when recovering from injury. And some took it to prevent being injured.

I noticed that as well and I found it very difficult to watch and listen to that idiot.

Welp I thought baseball was serious about this....

I must admit I had the wool pulled over my eyes. Here I thought Selig would actually want to do something and all this report is a cheap shot to the rest of baseball (mainly the AL East).

If I'm Clemens and Pettite or many of the others with a lot to lose (IE Pujols) I push the issue to see what exactly theyve got. On the basis of defamanation of charecter and go from there. If its some pissed off FORMER employee of a team or of Clemens I take it to court and make the case look like Swiss Cheese.

Honestly, if Mitchell wanted everyone to truly focus on the future of the sport and not on the past, he wouldn't have named names.

    Re: The List

They aren't going to win a defamation of character suit since Mitchell has enough evidence behind him to, even if he was wrong, he had justification

Here's a good story about former Expo F.P. Santangelo coming clean about using HGH when the Expos warned him that they weren't going to renew his contract. He admits he made the wrong decision, thought that using HGH would help keep his career going (it did), how he later regrets it, and how he had a tough time telling his children about the mistakes that he made in the past.

    Wait.

    I don't get it.

Baseball's not serious about it....but the players are the ones being slighted for being named?

    Re: The List

personally, I am sick of all this HGH, steroid, drug policy garbage. Just suspend whatever, improve the testing, make it part of the players contracts if they test positive. Owners, players, trainers, even fans are all to blame. We got so caught up in it that baseball now has another black eye, just like it did, and to a certain point still does, after the 1994 strike. Players need to get over their egos and play for the "love" of the game again.
