While many did juice in the era, that doesn't take any sort of guilt off of them. It's not fair to all those who have remained clean in the game, which outweigh those who have not (in the grand scheme of things.)

I agree 100%. If they did it, they are guilty but we can't remove records or strip awards because they were playing against others that were doing the same thing. The whole era was dirty.

People are dumb and people will continue wanting to mark the stats of the roiders, continue wanting to throw records out because they'll think this list is complete and fully representative, without realizing that mitchell got all of this info from about 1% of people involved in the major leagues because the rest refused to talk.

Honestly, 1% is kind of generous. He re-used a ton of stuff from SI/ESPN/Local papers/etc.

Yeah. A lot of what Mitchell did was just try to find evidence for things we already knew, like the Jason Grimsley claims.

Still no signs that players like Griffey used, which I believe could ultimately leave him and a select number in an elite class of their own.

I was really surprised to see Donald Fehr "sell-out" the players on the list, but that is not a bad thing, IMO. He accepts the fact that baseball has a problem and something must be done to clean it up.
As to the list, there are only a few names that are unexpected -- Chuck Knoblauch and Brian Roberts for 2.
