No votes for the Indians. What a surprise. The Yankees had star power, experience, huge payroll, and everything else that comes from being the Yankees. Up 3-0 they had no reason to lose to the Sox, although I'm glad they did.

With that said, the Indians are a young and inexperienced team, especially when it comes to the playoffs. They had to face a couple of post-season beasts in Schilling and Beckett so which only made it tougher on their generally post-season experience deficient team. Personally, I think it's quite an accomplishment that they were able to go up 3-1 on the Red Sox.

Without a doubt, the Yankees are the bigger chokers.

The inexperience of the Indians is irrelevant to this discussion.

A choke job is a choke job regardless.

I mean, I still think the '04 Yanks take the cake, but not because of that flawed reasoning.

I disagree with the part in bold. Schilling sucked in game 2 and was on the ropes early on in game 6. Once the Red Sox scored 10 runs in 3 innings, he didn't really have any pressure on him. I wasn't impressed.

And of course the 2004 Yankees were the bigger choke job.
