Great series but it's sad that FOX didn't wanted anything to do with this series.

Doesn't surprise me at all. Nobody cares about Colorado or Arizona. Hell Colorado and Arizona didn't even care about there teams until it became cool to do so.

Good, I hope people outside Colorado continue to not care about the Rockies. Maybe the Indians or Red Sox won't either-until it's too late.

Also, at least Colorado could sell out their playoff games, which is more than can be said for Arizona.

Alot of factors come into play, its not like people of Colorado or Arizona dont care about there teams, compare to Cleveland, NY, Chicago, and Boston, when those teams have been in the Majors for over 100 years, while AZ and CO there only about 9-14 year old franchises. I bet you anything the same would have happened to those tradional franchises as I named above if they were 9-14 years old respectfully. Also its not like the fans of CO and AZ went to games with there parents and grandparents growing up either.

A lot has to do with the time zone, these are young teams that most of the country do not know all that much about yet, and the media has an east coast bias. At least that is the assumption of the fans outside the eastern time zone.

I wouldn't call it an east coast bias as much as it's the fact that games played in the mountain and western time zones are played when most of us on eastern and central time are in bed because it's 10:30 pm before the game starts over here.
    Cleveland Indians : 0-5, 5th AL Central
Pittsburgh Pirates Record: 3-2. 1st NL Central

If they wanted Boston or New York or Chicago or LA in the World Series, maybe those teams shouldn't have chumped it.

That is part of it, I understand that, but even ESPN, which I love, admits the east coast bias. Eastern Sports Network...
