I am still leaning towards Peavy, but BRandon Webb is a very close second.

I don't think they should be awarding CY Young awards to electric guitar amplifier companies.

    I say Jake Peavy.

    Thanks for the thread J_H_Kash

Out of those 3, it should be Peavy.

    Where's the Jake Peavy option?
I did a lot of good things as a sim league GM.

Ah, give me something clever to say here.

    Wishful thinking right there.

    There's no debate here, Peavy.

If season were to end today, seems like we are all in concensus, Peavy--NL Cy Young.

Webb or Peavy deserve it. But I'll take Webb.

    Re: NL Cy Young

The amazing thing with Peavy outside of the strikeouts and the other signs of dominance is the fact that he is better on the road than in the very pitcher friendly PetCo Park. Or that his 2006 season was a disappointment to fantasy league owners everywhere and he has silenced all of those complaints. I am not one to buy into the W-L record with a pitcher, but it's a shame that Peavy won't reach a 20 win season as we all know that would immortalize it a bit more in the mind of the baseball media (which then affects the casual fan.)

    I didn't make that up.

I doctored it to reflect the current NL Leaders (since MLB.com only shows the MLB leaders as such) but I didn't make up the stats or who's leading the NL.

Peavy is no longer leading in K's though and tied with 4 others with W's.

    I beg to differ

    MLB Baseball - CBSSports.com

    MLB Baseball - CBSSports.com

That doesn't reflect what's happened today thus far, but somehow I doubt Aaron Harang pitched 32 Ks today. (especially since he didn't pitch)

And Tim Hudson pitched two days ago, so, unless one of those guys with 14 pitched today and recorded 2 wins in one game nobody's tied with him in wins.

I'm thinking you were looking at the Major league leaders.

Note that the sig says NL triple crown leaders.
