What should be done to Interleague?

I think that Interleague needs to have more variety of games. More games like Marlins-M's or Angels-Braves. Along those lines. Im tired of seeing Pads-M's

None of them are really rivalries outside of Yanks-Mets and White Sox-Cubs, MLB is just trying to force it down our throat that they are rivals. They did create a few new games this year (like the Marlins-M's, too bad that is the one weekend this summer I won't be in Florida), but I agree, I'm tired of seeing the Mariners play the Padres.

A's/Giants always draws a lot of fans at both parks. It's a nice friendly rivalry between the fans. I also like watching teams that I would never get to watch otherwise.

I don't like inter-league series. Teams don't against the other leagues for the playoff spot. I wish we could play more games against the teams within the division.

I said my piece on Interleague Play over the weekend. I hate it. If the players hate interleague play and don't show any emotion to it, why should the fans care. As a Twins fan, I would love to play the Yankees, Red Sox, Angels, Rangers, and even the A's more.

The Subway Series this weekend was an eyesore from what I read in the paper. I am glad that's over.

you can only play so many games as it is against your divison. If you were Florida and you had to play the DRays every year i can understand, but ask that to Yanks-Mets, White Sox-Cubs, Angels-Dodgers, Giants-A's, Rangers-Astros.

I like it, I get so sick of playing Bos, Bal, TB and Tor so many times. The unbalanced schedule is awful and unfair. I'd like to see some different teams but we should always have 1 series against the Mets and then face a different division every year.

Scrap the rivalries. If the Yankees are playing the NL Central then that is their interleague games. I find the Yankees-Mets, Whitesox-Cubs, Braves-RedSox, etc...stupid.

How fair is it if the Mets lose 2 out 3 or 4 out 6 to the Yankees and lose the wildcard to the Marlins by 1 game who take 3 out 3 or 5 out 6 from the Devil Rays.
...The Marlins didn't play the Yankees and Mets did not play the Devil Rays.

Fix the darn thing. I like it, but I dont like the fact that the Braves have to face the s0x and the Marlins get Tampa.

I liked it at first but now it's boring. When it first starts it's okay, but down the stretch it drags. They should either scrap the whole thing or make interleague play shorter. Personally I wouldn't mind if the Yankees played the AL all season... that would be fine with me. It's better because when two teams get to the World Series there's a mystique about it because the two teams have never faced each other in the reg. season.

The only time I would want interleague play is for the playoffs. Best AL vs NL wild card, 2nd AL vs 3rd NL, 3rd AL vs 2nd NL, Al wild card vs. best NL. That way you could have the best WS and not always a great AL team playing a so-so NL team.

Like the so-so Marlins or DBacks that beat the Yanks?

You make a valid and factual point. Now go over the history of the WS and see that the AL has dominated the NL in almost every decade and overwhelmingly over the 100+ years of WS competition. Eat the whole pie, not just the part you like best.
