Baker has been making the big pitches when he need them. Stringing two great starts like this together has to make Twins fans feel better about seeing a possible resurgence in the second half in a big way.

we have started the resurgence! Baker has looked very good. Two outstanding starts back to back. I can't wait for Liriano to get back. What a dangerous pitching staff the Twins will have.

The Twins have been hot as of late, I am not denying that, but for it to last over the long haul they definitely need Baker to live up to the hype.

When is Franky Liriano due back?

I can't imagine he'll be back before September, unless the Twins want to risk him more so.

Bonderman is done after 110 pitches and eight beautiful innings pitched.

Marcus Thames finally gets us to know the term run production once again, a liner out to left that finds its way over the wall. 1-0 Tigers.

Todd Jones and his awesome 'stache is coming in to try to assist with Bonderman earning another W.

Thames hits a HR to LF! Just missed one his last time up, but gets it all this time.

1-0 Tigers. There is the run we have been waiting for. Much less than the 12 inning 15-14 game I predicted for sure. But will the Tigers finish this one at a 1-0 clip? What a pitchers duel this one turned out to be.

I don't know what Bonderman's pitch count is, but I have a feeling Jones will get into trouble here.

How dare you go against the Mission scouting report. You have dishonored your family.

110 and "In Jones I Trust."

Also, here goes Morgan again with Gardenhire and his terrific youth dealing skills.
