    Halladay is better in all of those than Wang. I don't see how he deserved the runner-up because he got 3 more wins on a better offensive team.

    No real surprise here. Baseball America gave Santana its player of the year award this year.
    Wang came out of nowhere and became the Yankees best starter. Halladay just had a usual year, for him. Nothing really spectacular.
