That's pretty cool. Good for Rickey. As long as you are able and want to play, more power to you.

Please go away Rickey. Get your ticket to the Hall and be quiet for a change. If teams didn't want you last year, why would they want you now?

I'm with reefer on this one. Rickey's 15 minutes of fame are so over. He's yesterday's news. Go away already.
He'll be back in MLB some day. He's like the Juiceman of baseball

Circular logic aside, Mr Mims, you have yet to provide a single credible reason why you are, in fact, hot.
I am glad Rickey wants to still play the game, but with that said, I hope he does not get his hopes up that some major league team will call for his service.
Although it seems Rickey has lost all of Rickey's batspeed, Rickey still thinks Rickey can contribute to a major league club, perhaps as a pinch runner, or even later as a hitting coach. Rickey would be happy with such an arrangement.
He's not the ageless man, Julio Franco is.

Yes, but Rickey is one year older than Franco.Originally Posted by Generalissimo

Excuse me guys but I think I am the only vampire in this forum. I am the true ageless one.
Smith already retired.Originally Posted by Element
