St. Louis Cardinals: 2006 World Champions!!!!!!!

The Cardinals have won the World Series!!!!!!!!!!!

The team's 10th World Series Championship.

They are baseball's best for 2006!

In my mind, this series proves once and for all that Walt Jocketty is the best GM in baseball.

The Cards have been so close to winning it so many other times under him, but this is the final feather in his cap.

    Jocketty Methodology.

    Respect it.

You respect Jocketty enough for all of us.

    Congratulations to the Cardinals.

    Ah, free agency starts tomorrow.

I'm so ready to see the Pirates waste money on a shitty player.

    I do.

One GM knows that players like Molina, Taguchi and Spiezio will be clutch.

He also knows when to dump most of those type of players.

Another sparkling performance by Jeff Weaver.

    Impressive to say the least.

Congrats to the Cards. I <3 everyone in the Cards organization, except LaRussa and Jocketty.

Congrats to the St. Louis fans, the best fans in the league.

So you don't like the architect of the organization you love?

Fun fact: The maligned Boston Red Sox had a better record in a better league than the Cardinals.

The wonder of the post-season. Go figure.

    The wonder of clutch.

    Go figure.

    Them's the breaks.

The fact is, one of those two franchises is second in World Championships, the other isn't.

There is a reason the organization with 10 Championships has that many.

    What a franchise.

    What a baseball town.

As Sir Albert just said, they got it done in the postseason, despite some regular season issues.

And the well-deserved MVP award goes to David Eckstein, the brilliant Jocketty addition!

David Eck-steen. Well done. oh shut up selig.

And I suppose that clutch has to do with the locale of a team now. Jocketty established the Cardinals in St. Louis and the Red Sox in Boston. And the Sox in the AL and Cards in the NLOL

Looks like CRF is suffering from Stockholm's syndrome.

Props to Tony La Russa, Esq.

David Eckstein wins the World Series MVP award. **** you, Bill Stoneman.

And if Edgar Renteria wasn't a greedy little ***** and went to the Sox for 500k, they wouldn't have Eckstein. As clutch is a product of a failed bid. Much like how Epstein failed to get Contreras in his suck form.

    No syndromes here.

Just a lot of pleasure for the guy I've said for quite some time is the best GM in baseball helping get a big World Championship for Sir Albert, the rest of the Cards and St. Louis.
