None of our favorite teams got there.

I've only got 1 favorite team and we all know they didn't make it.
That doesn't negate the fact that this is the World Series being decided here.

I'm starting to feel like Tommy Lasorda in those ESPN commercials.

Seems like Provie is a little overly attached to those A's, because every negative comment made about them turns into, "Ha, we went further than your team did." or "You all said we'd lose to the Twins and we didn't." But I digress.

I'm just saying...it seems to me that the people who have been bagging on the A's and Beane are fans of teams who haven't done shit. I doubt they would be complaining if Beane ran their team (with a bigger payroll) and got them to the playoffs
