Zito went seven last night and gave up one run in his 12th victory of the season.

Billingsley pitched a good game, striking out 7 going 6 innings and only giving up 2 runs, Johnson on the other hand only went 3 innings and got rocked most likely for the loss.

Sheets only went one inning which is weird and gave up 1 run. Reyes is still in the game heading to the 6th soon and pitching quite well excluding the 2 run dinger. Good game on in st.louis.

Adam Loewen blanked the Yankees on one hit over 6 1/3 innings, striking out 8 and walking 5. He pitched a really good game which didnt suprise me too much.

One other really nice pitching performance tonight so far was Javier Vazquez vs the Jays, who went eight lights-out innings, giving up just two hits and one run while striking out 13. Against the ICE COLD Jays who dont even look like there trying but a solid performance none the less.

dude, every day should be Friday.

and I hope Blanton continues his and the A's dominance over the M's.

Blanton owns the M's this season. He is 3 - 0, has pitched 23 innings, and has an ERA of 0.78 ERA. He has given up 14 hits and 1 walk. He has a WHIP of 0.65 and has 10 k's.
