I could be wrong but I don't think tax evasion has anything to do with steroids.

Exactly. Obviously someone didn't read the story and just assumed this was another Bonds/Roids thing. (wonder why anyone would assume that, especially since .. ah, nevermind)

And to reeferboy, I wasn't saying that the league or the team should do anything about THIS incident. I am talking in general, teams and the leagues (all the major sports) are gutless turds who don't want to make ANY of their players responsible for their actions. Hell, in baseball, if you screw up, you get to pick and choose when you serve your suspension. How sad and pathetic is THAT!!?

I'm generally with Lynch on this one. I hate the whole guilty before innocent presumption, but in something in a case like Myers, I wished the team would hold him out of his start until the matter gets cleared or something definitive occurs.

I just can't wait until after this is all over. Which won't be for a long time.

doesnt matter how much they want his ass if the jury (on which he may be charged) wont convict him. is it going to be that easy finding an unbiased jury?

Lynch, I am not reeferboy. I find that shit condescending. I don't go around calling you Lynchiepoo or Lynchie-*****ie. Also, there were more than one person I was talking to. If you want someone to blame for the mess, try starting with MLB itself. If Bonds is found guilty, yes they will take action. In the case of Myers, they didn't know everything about the situation. Once they did, they took action.

Perjury. What case did he recently testify in? Do the math there. By the way, wasn't Al Capone first indicted on tax evasion charges?

You're just taking what I was saying too literally. What I was trying to point out is that sometimes small charges lead to bigger ones down the road.

No, actually I was just having some fun. I know what the whole deal is about and you won't hear a peep out of me saying otherwise being the biggest Giants fan on this forum.

if I read your post correctly, it clearly states

"its only cheating if you can prove that it works!!!!!!!! meantime there aint no positive steriod test on bonds!!!!!"

So are you telling us that perjury and tax evation are only cheating if you can prove they work? and that, in the meantime, there's no positive tax evation or purjery test on Bonds? ("steroids" obviously being a typo)
