    You just gotta love the fact the M's have 3 on the busts and 1 on the bargains.

    i dont think albert pujols is underpaid, he signed a 7 yr 100m contract! LOL @ underpaid

    its also hard to judge a rookie by there 1st year, saying swisher and papelbon are underpaid, i understand where he's comming from, but also in MLB you got to prove yourself consistantly for 2-4 years before you make the big bucks

    It's not that you have to prove yourself, it's that a player's salary is set his first 3 years with arbitration following for 3 more.

    I'm surprised Varitek beat Kendall...but they're both overpaid IMHO...I guess the deal breaker is that the Red Sox offered the contract and the A's didn't...they ate it to get rid of 2 cancers.
