the only thing this ends is a hr slump.
no one cares. it'll be another 2 weeks before he gets past bonds. and then he'll finish the season with no more than 20 hr's.
bonds isn't even worth mentioning anymore. his swing has basically been demolished, pitchers are finding out how to pitch to him since he's become inefective, and he didn't even draw a full house to sbc or abc or att or whatever park it is now. griffey got a full house hr's 490-499 atleast, not 3k short of a sellout.
i hope the media doesn't celebrate bonds at all. he's a disgrace to this game for the jealous acts he did upon himself to make him better. he's tainted some of baseballs most coveted records because he just wanted to have his 15 minutes of fame.
