What's funny to me is that meanwhile, the "other" L.A. team has a noted gas can as its closer, dumped its starting catcher who promptly landed on their top division rival, and allowed their best power hitter, ace pitcher, leadoff hitter, and stud closer all to leave over the past 3 offseasons, and then act as though their owner isn't cheap.

Honestly, that was a solid outing, all things considered. The home run sucked, but with the bases empty it makes sense to challenge the hitter rather than pick at corners and walk guys.

Sorry to disappoint the peanut gallery today, but I tuned in to ESPN's 30 for 30 piece on Len Bias' story instead, since I figured it couldn't be any more depressing than having to watch Hector Gimenez, Xavier Paul, and Jamey Carroll due up to bat in just the third game of the fucking year.
