Thumbs Down FML: $3.25MM for Rod ****ing Barajas.

aarongleeman: Rod Barajas is a 35-year-old career .239/.284/.412 hitter who had a .284 OBP in 2010. Dodgers just gave him $3.8m.

CrashburnAlley: List of baseball things Barajas doesn't do adequately: hit for avg, get on base, run, throw out runners, block plate...

keithlaw: If the Dodgers want to protect their $3.8m investment in Barajas, they should put the money on first base - he'll never see it

MikeSciosciasTI: That has to be a typo. Barajas made $500k last year with the Mets. Did he really turn ONE GOOD WEEK into a $3.3m raise?

ChadMoriyama: Well that makes it better...not. RT @dylanohernandez: My source was mistaken: Barajas' deal with the #Dodgers is worth $3.25 million.
It's gotten to the point where it's torture to read opposing fans and bloggers laugh at the retarded moves this team makes.

At least you won't have to suffer through another year of Jeanson Martin.

One of the Torrealba brothers or Molina brothers weren't available?

The shitty thing is they offered Martin $4 million + $1 million in incentives to stay and he turned it down.

How hasn't Mofo gone Michael Douglas on the front office yet?

I could ask the same thing of all those Dodger bloggers who get invited to a stadium suite during the annual Blogger Night.
Tl;dr version: The bloggers had an opportunity to give the front office a piece of their know-it-all minds, yet here they are asking Ned questions about Garrett Anderson's clubhouse influence.

Wow. That's about all I can say to paying Barajas more than the minimum...

Thank the Marlins for the outrageous deal they gave Buck.
