Well, since the Rockies were in the visitors' dugout, it wouldn't have taken him long at all to pack. I get the feeling Ned thought, "Hey, let me go see if the Rockies want him" and headed down the hall.

Dodgers acquired OF Anthony Jackson from Rockies to complete the trade for RHP Octavio Dotel.
The Dotel trade looks even worse for the Dodgers. Jackson, 26, has a .252/.331/.340 batting line over five professional seasons and has never played above Double-A. He possesses good speed and adds some flexibility at second base, but is more likely to be organizational depth than anything else.

Hey, they got a lifetime Single A player for Dotel. Why not just ask for money instead?
