You'll have DirtyKash all over you. Good point.
How about Scott Proctor, mofo.
Marshall: MILSWANCAs?
Ted: Wait, I can get this. Mothers I'd like to sleep with and never call again.
Barney: Circle gets the square!
The 2074 MSL NL Gold Glove Recipient at Third Base.
Better? And it makes you wonder how this guy didn't get a major league deal. WHIP was a little high(1.31), but in the past 3 seasons, he's never had an ERA higher than 4.2...Dodgers signed RHP Justin Miller to a minor league contract.
The deal comes with an invitation to spring training. Miller, 32, was 3-3 with a 3.18 earned-run average in 44 appearances for the Giants in 2009. He will earn a base salary of $850,000 if he cracks the Dodgers' roster.
Looks like a good, risk free pickup.
I don't see why you fellas are saying that this would be a bad signing.
Luis, atleast you ERA here @ BS is good, in Single-A.
It probably pains him to pony up for the minor league contract to Justin Miller.I CAUGHT UP with McCourt as he tried to beat the traffic and leave before anyone else. A Parking Lot Attendant knows what it's like when everyone tries to leave at the same time.
I asked him, "What do you think of the Justin Miller signing?"
But all I got was his back as he walked away. First time I can recall sharing the same opinion.

That is hilarious.

Steve Henson (stevehenson333) on TwitterThe Dodgers have 3-4 teams interested in $$ Juan Pierre and a 3-team deal is being explored to get L.A. a bad-contract starter in return.
The "bad contract" starter the Dodgers might get for Juan Pierre would not be Derek Lowe, a source said. That bridge has burned.
Please don't let it be Carlos Silva. Please don't let it be Carlos Silva.
The Mariners are supposedly set to be active... just pray mofo.

I take that back. Silva has $25 million left on his deal, compared to Pierre's $18.5 million. No way in hell McBroke signs off on adding more debt. A more likely swap would be for Dontrelle Willis.
Wait, I don't want to jinx what I just said. I've got an idea.

Dodgers hope to deal Pierre, Bucs interested? - CBSSports.comAmong the teams that may have interest, according to sources, are the usually-thrifty Pirates. It's not yet clear how a deal would be constructed, but the Dodgers would likely try to get either Paul Maholm and Zach Duke.
Must be bogus sources, but I don't care. Anything to downgrade my terror alert.
/facepalmDylan Hernandez of the LA Times reports (via Twitter) that the Dodgers have signed Luis Ayala to a minor league contract with an invite to spring training. Hernandez added that should Ayala make L.A.'s major league roster, the reliever will earn $750K, and can earn another $100K based on appearances.
If you're Justin Miller and you can't beat out Luis Ayala for a spot, you might as well retire.
They brought Angel Berroa back on a minor league deal. Even Juan freaking Castro last year maintained a WARP of a even 0.0, which makes Juan Castro statistically the definition of a replacement player. This means Angel Berroa is not a suitable replacement for a replacement player, if that's even possible.
