Not sure which side to stand on. On one hand, no LAD fan in his right mind wants Frank to own the team for a long time. On the other hand, it remains to be seen if the Team Jamie zealots will get the forced sale they're hoping for. I don't believe for a second that she isn't in it just for a massive alimony.

Trope said that in the next trial -- to determine which assets are Frank's, which are Jamie's and which are shared -- Frank would get the Dodgers because they are titled in his name and title trumps community property.

Frank will pay Jamie $130 million to buy out her shares of the team. He could still be forced to sell if Major League Baseball gets its wish, but at least that process will be a bit simpler now that it's not tied to the McCourts' divorce proceedings. Frank is currently trudging the organization through bankruptcy court.
