    I actually viewed him more as a Dodger for the same reason.

    It wasn't till that Padres/Mets series in 2006 that I realize how popular he was amongst Mets fans.

    this is true. But Kaz Matsui? Reyes and Wright were in their first and 2nd full years in 2005 (Piazza's final year). Come on. Piazza was the Mets. If he doesn't go in as a Met, no one will
