    Twins Dodgers @ Twins 6/26-6/28

    Game 1: Billingsley vs Silva
    Game 2: Lowe vs Liriano
    Game 3: Perez vs Santana

    Twins won 8-2. Joe Mauer killed the Dodgers by batting 4-for-5 with 5 RBIs. Mauer bats left-handed too. Now they have to face Liriano and Santana.

    On a side note, Steak was happy that Mark Prior, whom the Twins selected Mauer ahead of in the 2001 draft, lost to the Twins last week.

    Twins 9-2.

    Lowe was shelled for 9 runs in 5 1/3 innings. Mauer batted 5-for-5. Mauer is real good. Liriano turned in another fine pitching performance. Santana takes the mound tomorrow for the sweep.

    With Santana pitching for the Twins in the rubber game, the Dodgers got swept as expected.
