Stud pitchers Sele, Broxton, Beimel, and Saito combined for the shutout. That's hot.

Beimel, Broxton, and Saito were summoned again, this time in relief of Penny, who was pulled in the 6th. The trio protected a 1-run lead that was then extended to 3.

Dodger fans have to feel for old friends Jim Tracy, T-Bone, Colby, and Jim Lett. They deserve better than an 11-game losing streak and last place in the division.
